BoP changes for FIA GT3 cars at Sugo

The GT-Association (GTA) and Super GT released their updated Balance of Performance (BoP) indices for the upcoming round at Sportsland Sugo, the Sugo GT300km Race.

The only changes made since the Fuji 500km will be to the FIA GT3-specification cars competing in the GT300 class, including a significant weight increase to the Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Audi R8 LMS, and very minor adjustments in turbo boost pressure for the BMW M6, Ferrari 488, and Nissan GT-R GT3.

Audi R8 LMS 

  • Car weight increased by 15 kilograms, up to 1260 kg (from 1245 kg).


  • Minor boost pressure decrease to a maximum output of 1.93@0.92 barA at 5500 RPM (from 1.95@0.92).

Lamborghini Huracan GT3

  • No changes.

Ferrari 488 GT3

  • Car weight increased by 10 kilograms, up to 1275 kg (from 1265 kg).
  • Minimum front and rear ground clearance reduced to 73 mm/98 mm (from 79mm/104mm).
  • Boost pressure decreased to a maximum output of 1.61@0.92 barA at 6000 RPM (from 1.65@0.92).

Mercedes-AMG GT3

  • Car weight increased by 25 kilograms, up to 1335 kg (from 1310 kg).

Porsche 911 GT3-R

  • No changes.


  • Boost pressure increased gradually throughout the powerband, up to 1.90@0.92 barA at 6500 RPM (from 1.88@0.92).

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3

  • Car weight increased by 5 kilograms, up to 1325 kg (from 1320 kg).

Lexus RC F GT-3

  • No changes.
