The #6 Lexus Team Wako’s LeMans RC-F of Kazuya Oshima and Andrea Caldarelli arrived at Fuji Speedway this weekend with a bit of a different look.
An updated livery graces the blue and pink machine as it heads into the fourth race of the 2016 Autobacs Super GT Series – now noticeably more blue than before!
Most of the white space that dominated the bonnet, the boot, and the side pillars of the Wako’s RC-F has now been replaced by Wako’s Blue. White accents are added to highlight the pink stripes along the front, sides, and rear of the car.
In addition, Maeda Shell Service – a manufacturer that designs components for several automotive companies, including Toyota Motor Company – has become a more prominent sponsor, adding their logos to the bonnet and the side doors.
The Wako’s RC-F of Oshima and Caldarelli is coming off its first pole position of the season at Sportsland Sugo, and has scored top-5 finishes in each of the first three races of the season. Will the new look parlay into a victory this Sunday?
