Drivers nominated for Motegi qualifying sessions

All 44 teams have nominated their drivers for the two qualifying sessions to precede the two races of the Motegi GT Grand Final.

The unique qualifying format of this doubleheader finale will see one driver for each team run in Saturday morning’s qualifying session, and their co-driver run in Sunday qualifying.

Also for this session, teams must start the race on the set of tyres that they used in qualifying – and with rain affecting both Friday practice sessions, teams face many hard decisions going into the first Qualifying session. Due to the weather from Friday, and the success ballast having an impact on Saturday’s race, most teams will run their faster of the two drivers on Saturday qualifying for Round 3.
