Notes

In addition to the eleven drivers whose season entries were confirmed on Monday morning, the following third drivers will also test at Okayama on March 18-19:

Kamui Kobayashi will test the #19 WedsSport Advan LC500 in preparation for his Super GT debut at this year’s Suzuka 1000km on August 27th.

Reigning GT300 champion Takeshi Tsuchiya will return to the racing cockpit of the #25 VivaC 86 MC for VivaC Team Tsuchiya, in preparation for a likely third driver role. Tsuchiya retired from full-time driving duties at the end of 2016.

Veteran Super Taikyu and time attack driver Kouichi Okumura will test the #48 Dijon Racing Nissan GT-R.

JLOC will feature three third drivers amongst their two cars. Koji Yamanishi returns to JLOC to test the #87 Shop Channel Lamborghini on March 18th, and former Honda Formula Dream Project talent Tsubasa Takahashi will test the same car on March 19th.

In the #88 ManePa Lamborghini, it will be former Team Taisan SARD driver Yuya Motojima, who was a finalist for the 2016 Shingo Tachi Memorial Award for Rookie of the Year.

Lastly, Shota Kiyohara will be the third driver testing the #360 RunUp GT-R for Tomei Sports, likely to remain as the team’s third driver in 2017 as he was last season.

UPDATE (3/14): Naoya Yamano, who was scheduled to test the #51 JMS P.MU Lexus RC F GT3 for LM Corsa, has been scratched from the entry list.
