2018 Chang Super GT Race: Weekend Schedule

The fourth round of the 2018 Autobacs Super GT Series takes us to Buriram, Thailand, and the Chang International Circuit, for the series’ only race contested outside of its native Japan. Here are the start times for each session of the Chang Super GT Race:


CHANG SUPER GT RACE – WEEKEND SCHEDULE

all times ICT (local time)

Saturday, 30 June

  • 10:00 – 11:45: Practice (1 hour, 45 minutes)
  • 15:00 – 15:35: Qualifying Session 1 (15 minutes x 2)
  • 15:45 – 16:13: Qualifying Session 2 (10 minutes x 2)

Sunday, 1 July

  • 13:25 – 13:45: Warm-Up (20 minutes)
  • 15:00: Race (66 laps)

Even without the FIA F4 Japanese Championship or the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, Super GT has a very unique group of supporting races for the weekend! One-make races for various Honda and Toyota production vehicles – including the Toyota Hilux pickup trucks!

2018 Chang Super GT Race: BoP Tables

On May 30, the GT Association (GTA), promoter and sanctioning body of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the Balance of Performance (BoP) tables for the upcoming fourth round of the season, the Chang Super GT Race at Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand.

The Balance of Performance for the GT300 class is administered by the GTA in association with the St├ęphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) for the FIA GT3 category cars, with all other BoP adjustments handled by the GTA.

2018 Chang Super GT Race: Entry List

On Monday, the GT Association (GTA), promoter of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the entry list for the fourth round of the 2018, the Chang Super GT Race, held at Buriram United (Chang) International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand.

Super GT’s annual visit to the Asian kingdom will feature the smallest entry list – 38 cars in total – including the addition of a local wildcard entry, est Cola with AAS Motorsports, in the GT300 class.

2018 Suzuka GT 300km Fan Festival: Weekend Schedule

Legendary Suzuka Circuit is the home of the upcoming Suzuka GT 300km Fan Festival, the third round of the 2018 Autobacs Super GT Series, on May 19-20. Here’s a look at the weekend schedule to come for this pivotal race:


SUZUKA GT 300KM RACE – WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Saturday, 19 May

  • 9:00 – 10:45: Practice (1 hour, 45 minutes)
  • 14:35 – 15:10: Qualifying Session 1 (15 minutes x 2)
  • 15:20 – 15:48: Qualifying Session 2 (10 minutes x 2)

Sunday, 20 May

  • 13:05 – 13:25: Warm-Up (20 minutes)
  • 14:40 – 17:40: Race (52 laps)

The FIA F4 Japanese Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan will be the supporting categories for the Suzuka GT 300km Race. Rounds 5 and 6 of the FIA F4 Japanese Championship will be held Saturday at 13:40 JST, and Sunday at 8:45 JST respectively. The PCCJ races will be held Saturday at 16:20 JST, and Sunday at 12:00 JST.
