On Friday, the GT Association (GTA), promoter of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the entry list for the second round of the 2018 season, the prestigious Fuji GT 500km Race, held on the Golden Week holiday of 3-4 May at Fuji Speedway.
The return of James Rossiter and the GT500 debut of Sho Tsuboi headlines the list of new entries into the Golden Week classic, featuring all 44 cars and 95 drivers on the list of provisional entries.
The GT Association (GTA) and Okayama International Circuit have released the weekend schedule for the season-opening Okayama GT 300km Race, which takes place on 7-8 April.

Saturday, 7 April
- 9:00 – 10:45: Practice (1 hour, 45 minutes)
- 14:45 – 15:20: Qualifying Session 1 (15 minutes x 2)
- 15:30 – 15:58: Qualifying Session 2 (10 minutes x 2)
Sunday, 8 April
- 13:05 – 13:25: Warm-Up (20 minutes)
- 14:40: Race (82 laps)
The series is supported this weekend by the FIA F4 Japanese Championship and the Porsche Carrera Cup Japan. The 15-lap FIA F4 races will start on Saturday at 13:50 JST, and Sunday at 8:35 JST. The 15-lap PCCJ races will start on Saturday at 16:30 JST, and Sunday at 11:35 JST.

The GT Association (GTA), promoter and sanctioning body of the Autobacs Super GT Series, has released the Balance of Performance (BoP) tables for the opening round of the 2018 season, the Okayama GT 300km Race at Okayama International Circuit.
The Balance of Performance for the GT300 class is administered by the GTA in association with the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) for the FIA GT3 category cars, with all other BoP adjustments handled by the GTA.

On Monday, the GT Association (GTA), promoter of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the entry list for the opening round of the 2018 season, the Okayama GT 300km Race at Okayama International Circuit on 7-8 April.
A full field of 44 cars are entered for this season-opening round, with the 15 GT500 challengers complimented by a grid of 29 GT300 cars.
