2018 Super GT World Awards: International Driver of the Year

Every year, Super GT World honours the most outstanding performers in the Autobacs Super GT Series with the Super GT World Awards.

The International Driver of the Year Award is given annually to the most outstanding non-Japanese driver in the Autobacs Super GT Series across both the GT500 and GT300 classes. From the first foreign champion in Erik Comas to today’s group of international Super GT stars, drivers from all over the world continue to challenge Super GT, the fastest GT racing series on Earth.

2018 Super GT World Awards: Gentleman Driver of the Year

Every year, Super GT World honours the most outstanding performers in the Autobacs Super GT Series with the Super GT World Awards.

The Gentleman Driver of the Year award, introduced this year, honours the best amateur racing driver in the GT300 class – which has its roots as a strictly pro-am category. Even as all-pro teams have now come to dominate the class, the gentleman racers of the grid still have a presence as drivers, financial benefactors, and unique characters in their own right.

2018 Motegi GT 250km Grand Final: BoP Tables

On Tuesday, the GT Association (GTA), promoter and sanctioning body of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the Balance of Performance (BoP) tables for the upcoming eighth and final round of the season, the Motegi GT 250km Race Grand Final.

The Balance of Performance for the GT300 class is administered by the GTA in association with the St├ęphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) for the FIA GT3 category cars, with all other BoP adjustments handled by the GTA.
