The GT Association (GTA), promoter and sanctioning body of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the Balance of Performance (BoP) tables for the upcoming second round of the season, the Fuji GT 500km Race at Fuji Speedway.
The Balance of Performance for the GT300 class is administered by the GTA in association with the Stéphane Ratel Organisation (SRO) for the FIA GT3 category cars, with all other BoP adjustments handled by the GTA.

Thursday, 3 May
- 8:40 – 10:25: Practice (1 hour, 45 minutes)
- 14:20 – 14:55: Qualifying Session 1 (15 minutes x 2)
- 15:05 – 15:33: Qualifying Session 2 (10 minutes x 2)
Friday, 4 May
- 13:05 – 13:25: Warm-Up (20 minutes)
- 14:40 – 17:50: Race (110 laps)
There is a massive support bill for the Fuji 500km, featuring the FIA Formula 4 Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup Japan, and this weekend, the Toyota Vitz Race Series.
The two 15-lap (30 minutes maximum) F4 races start Thursday at 13:05 JST and Friday at 8:50 JST. PCCJ also has two 15-lap races, on Thursday at 16:00 JST and Friday at 12:00 JST. And the 8-lap Vitz Race is Friday, bright and early at 7:45 JST.

On Friday, the GT Association (GTA), promoter of the Autobacs Super GT Series, released the entry list for the second round of the 2018 season, the prestigious Fuji GT 500km Race, held on the Golden Week holiday of 3-4 May at Fuji Speedway.
The return of James Rossiter and the GT500 debut of Sho Tsuboi headlines the list of new entries into the Golden Week classic, featuring all 44 cars and 95 drivers on the list of provisional entries.
On Monday, the GT Association (GTA) published the entry list for the upcoming second pre-season test for the 2018 Autobacs Super GT Series, to be held at Fuji Speedway on March 24 & 25.
42 cars will take part, as will 90 different drivers, over the two days of the final tune-up before the season gets underway on April 8 at Okayama International Circuit.
The testing lineup is headlined by the GT500 return of James Rossiter, plus the first competitive GT500 test for Toyota young driver Sho Tsuboi, who are expected to race in the Fuji 500km in place of Kazuki Nakajima and Kamui Kobayashi respectively.
